Singer and composer Sabeth Pérez has the power to stop time. For the length of a song, she suspends her listeners in a moment of beauty, tenderness, and grace, weaving her spell out of dynamic Argentine rhythms, delicate Impressionist harmonies, and the creative force of modern improvisational jazz.

Daughter of eminent German-Argentine musician and composer Gabriel Pérez, Sabeth grew up in a house of music, and sang before she could talk. She began performing and recording at the age of 12, and has sustained an ongoing relationship with Germany’s acclaimed WDR Big Band since the age of 13. Many large ensembles such as the Frankfurt Radio Big Band, the Uptown Jazz Tentet and the EOS Chamber Orchestra have since followed. Her international collaborations as both performer and composer include projects with multiple GRAMMY award winners Billy Childs, Tigran Hamasyan, Keita Ogawa, Jon Cowherd, Ingrid Jensen, Lula Galvão and Yasushi Nakamura.

Since moving from Germany to New York City, Sabeth has cultivated her unique musical vision, fired by her playful spirit, her dazzling chops, and her one-of-a-kind, satin-and-cinnamon voice. Her 2025 album, Searching for Beauty, is a loving invitation to dwell for a moment in joy and discovery. Early buzz was so great that Sabeth sold out her album release concert at Manhattan’s prestigious Jazz Gallery.
